Tabbuli Grill has awesome news and we are breaking the news here first!
February 17th is Tabbuli Grill’s big day – that is when we launch our new menu, featuring an all new tapas menu and a raw bar. Under the direction of Chef Eric Gaffin, Tabbuli Grill is reworking it’s current menu to bring you more variety for menu options and flavors. The menu is currently under revision, so we cannot reveal any of the top secret new menu items yet – but as the time gets closer, we’ll show you some of the tasty new items you can expect.
Eric is also heading up our newest company within Charleston Hospitality Group – Charleston Hospitality Catering. He is currently booking events and Tabbuli Grill is proving to be a popular place for rehearsal dinners. With the beautiful covered patio and fountains, our patio is a phenomenal place to host your event, no matter what the occasion. If you would like to schedule an event at Tabbuli Grill, you can reach Chef Eric at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have never really tried Mediterranean cuisine, you may be wondering about some of the items on the menu at Tabbuli Grill. Today, we are talking pitas! According to Wikipedia, a pita “is a round pocket bread widely consumed in many Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Balkan cuisines. It is prevalent in Greece, the Balkans, the Levant, the Arabian Peninsula and Turkey.”
Pita bread is round, but puffs up when cooking due to the steam created while the bread is baking. After the bread cools and flattens, the bread can be cut open to reveal a pocket in the middle, which is perfect for stuffing with any number of toppings.
At Tabbuli Grill, we love pitas and have a variety for our guests to choose from. And, whether you’ve never had a pita, or you’ve tried them several times, Tabbuli Grill has eight different pitas to try – including beef, lamb, shrimp, chicken, falafel, kofta, ‘you choose’ and a gyro pita.
If you ask us, of course we will give rave reviews about our authentic Mediterranean food. But – you don’t have to take our word for it – listen to what some of our clients have said about us:
“Excellent atmosphere and food – friendly service.” – E. Phillips
“Great place – will come back again!!!” R.F.
“Love your patio!! Thanks for allowing our dog to visit and thanks for the big pail of water.” – H. Peacock

If you’ve been a long time fan of Tabbuli, you may know how our beautiful outdoor patio has evolved over time. If not, we thought it would be fun to look back at the before, the after – and the second after. What is now a beautiful patio, was once just a parking lot, as seen below.
Our first renovation was beautiful:
But we didn’t stop there. We wanted to create a larger, but intimate patio setting for year-round dining. We enlarged the patio, added an outdoor bar and heat lamps to create our current patio:
