If you are a regular in the truly ‘Southern’ town of Charleston, South Carolina, then you are no stranger to the ‘ever so’ hip and elegant ambiance of the restaurant to see and be seen at; Tabbuli. If you are just stopping by Charleston for a visit then Tabbuli, at 6 North Market Street, is where you’re going to want to pull-up-a-seat and have the best drinks and Mediterranean American cuisine in town.
Tabbuli’s environment has charm, distinction, hospitality, and a handsome Mixologist/General Manager to boot, Jay Witkowski! As a seasoned bartender and a favorite on the Board of Mixology for BR Guest, Jay, has personally handcrafted the cocktails at Tabbuli to make sure your drink experience is as unique and exciting as Tabbuli.
Famous Jay’s philosophy for Tabbuli Specialty Cocktails is, “I like putting flavors together, and I love to muddle. Basil, Mint, and Rosemary – those are all items we keep around for the cocktails. And we make our hibiscus simple syrup in-house. Without these pure ingredients, you can’t have exceptional drinks.”
One of Jay’s Simply Favorites is the Mojito. “I’m a big mojito guy,” with a wink and smile he exclaims. “I’ve created probably around 25 specialty drink lists, but I come back to the mojito.”
Fresh ingredients, unparalleled taste, flavorful and delightfully distinct describe what you can expect when it comes to the cocktails Jay creates for Tabbuli’s Specialty Cocktails and Simply Favorites, not to mention the Cuisine!!
Breeze on into the patio, take a seat, check your Facebook and/or Twitter; order a Jay inspired, handcrafted cocktail at Tabbuli’s today, you’ll be glad you did!
Some people go out of town for the Fourth of July. It’s obvious, however, that those people don’t live in Charleston. The Holy City is the sort of place where people want to spend holidays and vacations, and if you’re lucky enough to be in the area this Independence Day and not stuck at your great-aunt’s country house, head to Tabbuli for a fantastic party on our patio, where every day and every night is a celebration of freedom!
Our theme this year is “Light Up the Night,” and festivities will be in conjunction with the Market Street Saloon, another great Charleston Hospitality Group restaurant.
Get your VIP wristband at Tabbuli, starting at 4 p.m., and you’ll receive special access to the Saloon all night! Enjoy food and drink specials on the patio, including our Red, White and Blue Painkillahs, back by popular demand for the festivities!
And there is no better place in town than Tabbuli for watching the fireworks at Patriot’s Point, one of the best shows in the Lowcountry.
Happy Independence Day from all of us at Tabbuli!
One of the things we love about our restaurant is the fact that our guests can bring their four-legged friends with them when they dine on the patio! We love seeing our furry Lowcountry pals relaxing outdoors as their owners unwind with a delicious meal.
Feeling left out because you don’t have a dog of your own to tag along? Don’t worry, our friends from Pet Helpers are heading over on Saturday from 1-5pm, and they’re bringing a few very special dogs and cats that are looking for homes.
Along with a few food and drink specials, Pet Helpers will be available to answer any questions you may have about adopting.
So, spread the word and tell your friends! Let’s help our wonderful friends at Pet Helpers!
